We are Pumpipumpe, a sharing community committed to a more sustainable use of resources and a vibrant neighbourhood. Anyone who wants to share rarely used everyday objects such as a party tent or a pasta machine with their neighbourhood can join. The community has grown steadily in recent years and now counts over 22,000 households.
Pumpipumpe makes all these useful things, which are rarely used and hidden in flats, cupboards, boxes and cellars, visible. The aim is to encourage more sustainable consumption and a discussion about the potential of urban neighbourhoods and real networks, especially in the age of increasing digitalisation. Pumpipumpe - like X27 - is not a ready-to-consume product, but a tool that can and wants to help community members activate their own real network in the neighbourhood. We want to help shape the future of Switzerland.
