Soil Fertility Fund of the Bio-Foundation Switzerland

The project

Society needs to become aware of the vital importance of soil fertility for its survival and assume responsibility for it along with our farmers. Only through this collaboration and awareness can we ensure that future generations will continue to eat healthy food. Until this goal is achieved, the Soil Fertility Fund (BFF) and its partner farms will act as a lighthouse project, developing ideas, implementing them and gaining experience that will, in turn, be made available to the general public. Through a bottom-up process, a new basis of values and cooperation between farmers, citizens, entrepreneurs and all those involved in society is made possible. The BFF also addresses 10 of the 17 SDG's - the sustainability goals of the United Nations.
