The Atelier für Sonderaufgaben is an experimental arrangement in the form of a small artistic enterprise that undertakes unusual strategies and processes in the border area between art and everyday life, society and economy. It was founded in 1999 by Frank and Patrik Riklin with the aim of producing independent and uncompromising art in social space and taking on special tasks that no one really feels responsible for. For their works, they focus on social participation. Their art always enters into a relationship with other subsystems and thus enters a grey zone where there is still a lot of creative potential.
